Healthy Bounty Balls (No Bake)
A wholesome twist on the classic coconut chocolate treat — creamy, naturally sweet, and deeply satisfying.
Ingredients
Coconut Centre
2 cups desiccated coconut
½ cup coconut cream (thick part from the tin)
2–3 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Chocolate Coating
150g dark chocolate (70%+ cacao)
1 tsp coconut oil
Method
Mix the centre:
- Combine coconut, coconut cream, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Stir until thick and slightly sticky.
Shape:
- Roll into small balls (or mini logs for that classic bounty feel).
- Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Freeze:
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
Coat in chocolate:
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil (double boiler method).
- Dip each ball, coat fully, and return to tray.
Set:
- Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
- Store in fridge up to 1 week (if they last that long 😉).
