Affirmation
“I am grounded, safe, and supported by the strength of the Earth beneath me.”
Start & Close Your Day with Intention
Our days are shaped by the energy we bring to them. By taking just a few mindful moments in the morning and evening, we can set the tone for our experiences and create a deeper sense of presence, peace, and purpose.
Morning Intention Practice
Purpose: Begin your day with clarity, focus, and heart-centred energy.
- Pause and ground yourself:
Before reaching for your phone or jumping into tasks, take 1–2 minutes to sit or stand comfortably. Place a hand over your heart and close your eyes. - Breathe deeply:
Take three slow, conscious breaths, feeling the rise and fall of your chest and tuning into the present moment. - Set your intention:
Ask yourself:
“How do I want to feel today?”
Choose a single word or phrase that resonates with you examples: peaceful, confident, joyful, grounded. - Affirm aloud:
Speak softly to yourself:
“Today, I choose to be [your word].”
Visualise yourself moving through your day embodying this feeling in your thoughts, actions, and interactions. - Carry it through your day:
Whenever you feel scattered or stressed, return to this intention as a gentle anchor.
Tip: Write your intention on a sticky note or in a journal to remind yourself throughout the day.
Evening Reflection Practice
Purpose: End your day with gratitude, release, and self-awareness.
- Settle into stillness:
Sit or lie comfortably, taking three slow breaths to relax your body and mind. - Reflect on your day:
Ask yourself:- What brought me joy or peace today?
- What am I grateful for?
- What moments or emotions am I ready to release?
- Release with intention:
Whisper or think:
“I release what no longer serves me. I am at peace.”
Visualise tension, worries, or heaviness leaving your body like a gentle stream of light. - Close with gratitude:
Acknowledge yourself for showing up today, no matter how challenging it was. Recognise your effort, growth, and resilience.
Tip: Keeping a small journal for these reflections can help you notice patterns, growth, and shifts in your energy over time.
Do this practice for just one week morning and evening and notice how your energy, focus, and overall sense of peace can shift. It’s a gentle way to create conscious, meaningful days and nights.
Warm regards,
Joy
