The Mind, Body & Emotion Reset

In my sessions with clients, I often guide them through simple yet powerful reset techniques that help align the mind, body, and emotions. These practices are designed to be quick and accessible, giving you tools to release tension, clear mental clutter, and restore emotional balance whether during a session, at home, or in the middle of a busy day. They help create a sense of calm, presence, and renewed energy so you can move forward with clarity and ease.

5-Minute Mind-Body-Emotion Reset

1. Grounding Breath (1 min)

  • Sit or stand tall.
  • Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6.
  • Imagine roots growing from your feet into the earth, anchoring you.

2. Quick Body Release (1 min)

  • Roll your shoulders back and down.
  • Stretch arms overhead and shake hands lightly.
  • Tilt head gently side to side to release tension.

3. Emotional Release (1 min)

  • Close your eyes and think of one worry or tension.
  • Visualise it leaving your body as a dark cloud or heavy weight.
  • Exhale slowly, imagining it dissipating.

4. Mental Reset (1 min)

  • Imagine a “clear slate” in your mind.
  • Picture your thoughts as clouds drifting away, leaving calm space behind.

5. Energy Reboot (1 min)

  • Take a few deep, energising breaths.
  • Smile gently this triggers a small emotional lift.
  • Say to yourself: “I am present. I am calm. I am ready.”
